New from Living Room Conversations

As our work has expanded, we’re looking for better ways to keep you informed. Next week, we are going to try out a newsletter format instead of a letter.  Let us know what you like and ways to do better!  We write this for you.

Online Living Room Conversations Lunch Series Begins

Join us for our first online Brown Bag Lunch Living Room Conversation! Anyone can join from any timezone, but each is scheduled to take place at noon in a different timezone.
This first Brown Bag Lunch takes place at noon Eastern on Thursday, January 16 and the Conversation topic will be The America We Want to Be. Please click on that link to sign up!

Living Room Conversations Featured in Newsweek

In case you missed it last week, we’re proud to share Newsweek’s op-ed calling for an engaged response to the challenges of 2020, co-written by Joan Blades and Reverend Richard L. Tafel:

“This is not the first time our country has faced internal challenges. We have come through serious divisions before this moment, and we can do it again.”

PS: We hope you share the Newsweek piece with those you’ve been wanting to tell about Living Room Conversations  along with our story on the national Golden Rule Conversation event we presented late last year with the National Institute for Civil Discourse.
