How to Organize & Host Zoom-Based Living Room Conversations

As the coronavirus is driving social gatherings online, Living Room Conversations is focusing on resources to
help you stay connected. We are offering this free training on how to organize and host your own Living Room Conversation via video call. While everyone is welcome to attend, those who have participated in a Living Room Conversation and have a group of people in mind to invite may get the most out of this training. In this training, we will: 1) hear from you about your plans for your own online Living Room Conversations; 2) share
simple steps for setting up your own online/video Living Room Conversations including how to reserve a free Zoom line from us; and 3) talk about online hosting tips.
Come ready to ask questions and get ready to schedule your own online conversation or practice session. Join us!
Is there a fee to participate?
No, however, our work is made possible through the donations of generous supporters – who might include you! You can give when you scroll down to register for this event by selecting the “donation ticket” option.
How long do I have to register?
You have up until 4 hours before the event’s start time to register.
What do I need to participate?
You will need a device with a webcam (preferably a computer or tablet rather than a cell phone) to participate and be seen by other participants. A Zoom link to join the training will be sent to you the day before and again one hour before the training begins.
