How to Have Online Living Room Conversations

As the coronavirus is driving social gatherings online, Living Room Conversations is focusing on resources to help you stay connected. We are offering a new, free, 30-minute training focused on how to have your own Living Room Conversation via online/video. In this training, we will: 1) hear from you about your online conversation needs, 2) review how to participate in our online Living Room Conversations, and 3) share simple steps for organizing and hosting your own online/video Living Room Conversations – either one-time or on an on-going basis. This will include how to request a free Zoom line from us for your scheduled conversation time(s). We’ll be available for up to 30 minutes afterward to answer any questions you may have. Join us!
Is there a fee to participate?
No, however, our work is made possible through the donations of generous supporters – who might include you! You can give when you scroll down to register for this event by selecting the “donation ticket” option.
How long do I have to register?
You have up until 4 hours before the event’s start time to register.
What do I need to participate?
You will need a device with a webcam (preferably a computer or tablet rather than a cell phone) to participate and be seen by other participants. A Zoom link to join the training will be sent to you the day before and again one hour before the training begins.
