One thing that connects all of the great faith traditions is a version of the Golden Rule: “Treat others as you wish to be treated and love thy neighbor.”
Faith communities are where people go to become who they aspire to be and because of that, conversations in these communities are a powerful way to build belonging and heal the divides in our country.
using Living Room Conversations
Our faith community is made up of many different religious denominations. They are using Living Room Conversations(LRCs) to deepen relationships within their communities, address tensions, invite neighbors in and even talk to sister faith communities, both locally and in other states. Congregations that are holding conversations on a regular basis tell us that they are seeing more openness, curiosity, and respect and that members are reporting a greater sense of belonging.
